The Millers is a vampire group that rules on the American continent. It is lead by May Miller and Grace Miller. They are vampires and 86% of them feeds on human blood. Their superiors are The Anconi and all members of the First Coven. They are superior over all covens in the western hemisphere. The Millers were desoluted by The Silverstones in May 2014.
The Millers started when May grew more and more unhappy with the events that happened on mainland Europe under the terror of the first coven. She then decided to found her own group with her sister, and she travelled west to touch land in Florida. Up untill the end of May's reign, she had a house there which featured a lot of elements in her rise to power within vampire politics.
By the beginning of the 18th century, May and Grace had taken over the eastern coastline of the USA by turning strategic people in society into vampires, and recruiting them for their cause. She did this with Jared Carrington by her side, who she had recruited a few years before taking his home town Boston and expanding her territory further north. Before that, May had a brief but meaningful relationship with Jared's brother, Jason, who stood in high favor of the majority of May's army.
When Jason left, 12 other people left with him. However Jared used his charms to recruit 23 new members, and thus the Millers continued to grow bigger. The empire only slowed down their growth twice,in 1812 and in 1855 - not coincidentally the years May Miller was pregnant with her two daughters. By the time of her second pregnancy, she even dissappeared for an entire year, leaving the daily operations to her sister, Grace.
By 1860, The Millers had successfully conquered New York City, Boston, Philadelphia and Richmond. They continued to expand their territory, with Alyssa being inserted in strategic places to keep an eye on their enemies. However they suffered a setback when Alyssa befriended members of The Dawsons and ever since a brooding war in the upper management of the Milllers has been waging.
The symbol of the Millers is a ourobos. Typically the Millers are represented by two snakes, eating eachother's tale. This symbolizes the double throne, infinity and rebirth ; a never ending cycle, something that will recommend when it ends.
- The Phoenix, symbol of the Millers 2.0 , is a reflection of this ; the phoenix stands for rebirth, yet is not infinite.
The symbol is often seen worn by members of the Millers, mostly the throne. It is seen in the shapes of rings, bracelets, neclaces... It is also found on the gates of most Miller properties, as well as labeled in unvisible ink on Miller clasified documents.

The Miller Motel used to be an abandoned property that May Miller claimed as a temporary home base while she was plotting her attack. She got the deed to the historical property by bribing politicians of Waterfall Creek.
After May's dead, the building along with all the other Miller properties are passed down to Alyssa, who tries to give it back it's former glory. It will be the headquarters for the Millers 2.0
The motel also includes a barn and a poolhouse which are decorated to accomodate the large number of members.
The Miller Compound is the former homebase of the Millers, and Alyssa's childhood home. It serves as the main location for meetings and gatherings hoste by May and or Grace Miller.
In Season One, Alyssa mentions the compound when she arrives in Waterfall Creek when she says she just left the compound. Later on in the season, Jared kidnaps Claire. When they're looking for the location, Alyssa mentions that there are plenty of hide-outs from the Millers besides the compound.
In Season Two, we get introduced to the Millers in the compound. We meet May as she is organizing her army. Later on we see Liam reporting back to May about his assignment to kill the Silverstones.
In Season Three, Liam mentions the compound to Mila, saying he'd have taken her there but he would have never had her for himself.
A majority of the Miller army lived there at a certain point. Many vampires had a residence there, including most known Miller vampires
The compound is said to be the most secured vampire home base ever seen (as Alyssa mentioned). It counts 4 separate houses with more than 10 bedrooms in total , and multiple luxury features.
The Miller Hunting Base is a property in Minesota. It is used as a house to stay at during long hunting trips. It is located at the longest distance from any other properties of the Millers and close to the border of Miller territory.
Silver Fox is the codename for a secret hideout location, only known by elite members of the Millers.
It is a underground house, located in an area in Buchanan, Virginia. The surrounding wildlife and remote location make for it to be practically invisible.
It was used by Liam while he was holding Mila captive, and it is also mentioned as one of Alyssa's hideout places while she was avoiding the rest of her family.
The Portland Lofts are the residence of Alyssa and Liam during their stay in Portland. It concludes of a spacious loft, and a smaller loft across the hall.
The Coral Gables House is one of May's residential properties across the country.
It was May's first properties she owned after establishing her territory on American Soil. Because of this it holds great emotional value to her. Grace and May used to go there on vacations, untill their relationship became strained.
At the end of Season Two Liam considers taking Mila to this house, but chooses to hide out in the Silver Fox Hideout House instead. In Season Three, Alyssa mentions she visited the Coral Gables house once, attributing it to one of the reasons she doesn't like Florida. Also in Season Three Liam does go to the Coral Gables house when he is exiled.
In Season Six, Justin mentions Florida and the Coral Gables house, but Alyssa states she has had it sold.
The California House is one of May's residential properties across the country. It serves as a vacation house for when she visits the West-coast, more specifically California. A special feature, the windows all have a special coating keeping the sun-rays away so that they don't bother the vampires, although May herself is rather immume to it.
In Season Four, Alyssa and Justin stay in the house while visiting Claire and Seth. Justin later finds out that May was not happy with this.
In Season Six, Alyssa and Justin stay there again, this time Alyssa has had it remodeled to include a gourmet kitchen, a room for Damien, an internal gym and an outdoor pool. She presents the key to Justin as their anniversary gift.
The Alaska houseThe Alaska House of the Millers is one of the fall out bases. When the other houses get too crowded or a group of Miller vampires just want a break, they can go there. The wide mountain landscape provides enough room to hunt and not be noticed. It's a really good place to stay if someone is on a long trip and some of the Miller vampires live there permanently. When new vampires were created The Alaska House was a good place for them to recover, due to the small population of Alaska.
