Mitch is a recurring character in Once Upon a Blue Moon. He is an inhabitant of the magical dimension and guard at the Silver Castle. He is the future love interest of Amore Dawson.
He is a wizard from the Silverstone Bloodline, descendant from house Sellister. He is close friends with his cousins, Selina Sellister, Sten Sellister and Sansa Sellister as they were raised together. Mitch has taken up the family service of being a guard in the Silver Castle after his brother got injured and paralyzed.
Life[]
Mitch is a descendant from the less powerfull branches of the house Sellister, and doesn't have much magic. His family is originally from a settlement half a day from the Silver castle. At age 18 he joined the Queensguard, moving closer to the castle leaving his family behind after his brother returned from service with paralysis from battle.
Season Two[]
Mitch is a new member of the queensguard when the rebellion occurs. During his tasks in protecting the royals, he has to fight off people like him from the lower-born families. He visably struggles with it. He is talking about the rebels to his fellow queensguards, when Amore Dawson overhears him and asks her to tell the story again. He explains the story of his upbringing, and brings a different point of view to Amore's world.
Amore convinces her mom to only let the queensguard defend them on their own choice. As a result, a part of the guard is about to lay down their duties, but Mitch rallies them together. In the end, almost the entire queensguard is able to help defend the royals. At the end of the season, Mitch finds out his sister is getting married, and requests time off to attend the wedding.
Season Three[]
Mitch arrives back in his hometown for the wedding, but receives hate for his loyalty to the royals and his position in the queensguard. Mitch asks Petor if he experienced the same, to which Petor states things have gotten worse since he went out of service. Petor's son Zoran is born early in a chaotic delivery. Having to miss on the wedding ceremony, Petor asks Mitch to step in and walk Nyka down the aisle at the wedding.
Returning to the Silver Castle, Mitch is assigned to Amore's personal detail now that she permanently moves to the magical dimension. The two of them spend more time together after that. They exchange stories, learning about each other's worlds, and a friendship develops based on mutual respect.
Towards the end of the season, Amore's protection is increased and Mitch is near her at all times. They grow closer and a romantic relationship develops between them.
Season Four[]
After close to a year of keeping their relationship semi-secret, Amore plans to tell her parents. To her surprise, they do not oppose the relationship. Amore's mother facilitates for Mitch to be able to visit Waterfall Creek and join them for a family dinner. Mitch later talks to Jason Dawson about his relationship with Amore.
