Along with the other Davis children he follows the family tradition and has become a hunter.
Kit grew up in a wealthy family, but he has always gone against the stream and be different. So when he was a teenager, his rebellion attitude came out even more. He started to skip family dinners, he didn't came home causing his parents to worry and he'd party all night. On one of these parties he encountered Tristan Davis. He got showed a cool hang-out spot which was none less then the Davis hunter headquarters. He discovered a few days later that he and his sister were in fact adopted and that his biological father was Neill Davis. Reluctant at first, he got to know his dad and siblings.
He went to share the news with his sister, who responded in rage to the years of lies by their parents. He and Parker get trained to follow the foodsteps to get rid of supernatural creatures in the world. To complete his training he is instructed to trap his parents in his own house. He gets told they were in the living room when a fire is started in their house. In reality, it is his sister (who got instructed to start the fire) who got trapped by him as their parents died. Tristan eventually stops Kit but Parker has already escaped at this point. Both of them get separated to respective girl and boy compartments of the warehouse loft and they don't talk for a good month. They get reunited when they are given their official hunter codenames and weapons, and hunter status. Being the newbies, they originally don't get trusted with a lot and mainly supply food and drinks for the other hunters on stake-outs, or carry weapons. This is much to Kit's displease, but Parker convinces him that they are part of a bigger purpose.
