Justice is a story that follows the events in Portland, where Chris Saphire attends college. He attempts to fix up the city after it was recently the epicenter of magical mayhem.
In his adventure he takes on a persona known as the Shadow and he fights of rogue vampires during the night while attending college during the day. He gets support from his friend Phoebe Curtis, Morgan Cahill, Kyle Dunbar and Harper Carmichael.

- Phoebe discovers 2 magical entities are attending Chris' school, and tracks them down using her power. They tell her they don't want to cause trouble, and that they're both there because their father is the lawyer responsible for the defense of Enzo Wallis, a serialkiller who killed 5 women in Portland and used the vampires to dispose of the bodies. Phoebe enlist the help of Dean Lewis who is able to become second chair. When Dean and Phoebe work together, they realize that Nils and Meave's father is being threatened to get him free, or the vampires will attack Nils and Meave's grandmother. Phoebe asks Chris' help to track down the vampires on Enzo's payroll. When Chris and Kyle take them down, Nils and Meave's grandmother is safe and their father ruins Enzo's defense after which the jury convicts him and he goes to jail. After the trial, Nils and Meave reveal to Phoebe that they're part of the Garfunkel bloodline, whose descendants live in hiding from the rest of the magical community. In the S2 finale, Phoebe gets introduced to The Underground.
